Before I became a hypnotherapist, I always tried to change my life by pushing through problems. No matter how stressed out I was, I always believed that if I just crossed all of the to-dos off my list, I would finally feel calm. But even the glorious few days where I did make it through my endless lists of "shoulds" and "coulds", the anxiety and stress was just around the corner, waiting to pounce when the next email from my boss pinged on my phone, or the next time I sat in traffic, or when the next bill to arrived in the mail.
